This is a beautiful 100% natural fiber yarn made from 70% fine grade merino wool and 30% Silk in a nice, tight 4-Ply. These characteristics show off the sheen as if the silk content was much higher, and adds durability and versatility to the yarn. You get the best of both worlds: the elasticity of wool along with the strength, durability and sheen of silk at a very affordable price.

Use for any garment that requires a fingering weight yarn; ideally suited for sock projects!

Dye your own creations using any acid (protein) dyeing process as this yarn will render beautiful results.

Average gauge:
 8 to 9 stitches = 1 inch on US 3 to 4 needles
Care Instructions:
  • Hand wash lukewarm, do not bleach unless processing for dyeing (Eucelan is perfect for this yarn)
  • Preferably dry clean
  • Cool iron can be used under a
    pressing cloth, never iron wet
  • Do not tumble dry
Storage tips:
 For long-term storage, make sure this yarn is in a moth-proofed environment. Clean, clear plastic containers work extremely well. You can also wrap the garment in archival tissue paper to extend garment life.
