Fiddlesticks Knitting Rhapsody Cardigan Pattern
Rhapsody is an A-line cardigan that flares gently below the waist for a flattering shape. Fair Isle accents on the sleeves and the graceful shawl collar add decorative touches. Overlapping in front, it can be closed with a pretty brooch or stick-pin.
The body is knit in one piece, including the shawl collar. Sleeves are knit separately and sewn in after blocking.
Recommended for Intermediate knitters. Shown in Size Small in the JaggerSpun Zephyr DK weight yarn in color Mahogany as the main color (M), and Teal (B) and Violet (A) as the accent colors.

Recommended gauge
Gauge in moss stitch, before blocking: 24 stitches and 38 rows to 4 inches.
Gauge in moss stitch, after blocking: 22 stitches and 36 rows to 4 inches
Designer's note: if an exact gauge cannot be achieved, then a slightly smaller gauge is preferred to a larger one because the garment will stretch during wet blocking.
